Perform the tutorial: 1. Download the tutorial. 2. Double click the tutorial file. 3. System will pop-up a window show where the directory the unzipped file will be. 4. And then it will launch the tutorial automatically.
Step1: Make sure the DV and IEEE 1394 card are set up and connected well. Step2: Press Start and click right key over my compuater. Step3: Click Properties. Step4: Click Hardware tab. Step5: Click Device Manager. Step6: Click the plus sign in front of IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers to check if IEEE 1394 card is detected well by system. Step7: Click the plus sign in front of Imaging Devices to check if DV is detected well by system. Step8: Exit the Device Manager. Step9: Launch the VideoWorks 6. Step10: Switch to Device Viewer Mode. Step11: Press play to acquire video from DV Step12: Finish
