Presto! Media@Home - Wireless Home Entertainment

Media@Home is developed as a media center, or media server. It enables users to achieve media transfer from their televisions to their PCs or notebooks, and then transfer the analog media to digital media formats. Media@Home's strength lies in its ability to provide an easy-to-use operation by remote control, and allows users to watch TV, watch videos, listen to music, view digital photos, and play DVDs - not from traditional sources but right from their own PC or notebooks. What's more, Media@Home allows users to store their favorite content onto a CD or DVD.

Media@Home doesn't stop there, either. It does all of this wirelessly, so users can receive video streams via a wireless environment, especially a WLAN. With it, users can connect their PC to a sender box via WLAN and with high mobility. This sender box is similar to a normal tuner card, which includes a tuner, Composite AV and S-Video input source. The user interface of "wireless video" provides the user the same experience as watching regular TV; only an automatic site survey to search the sender box via internet protocol is needed.
