Computer: A personal computer with a Pentium III, 1 GHz or higher processor (Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz or above for real-time capturing from DV is recommended).
	Operating System: Windows 98 SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, or Windows XP.
	Memory: 128 MB RAM (256 MB is recommended).
	Disk Space: Minimum 400 MB hard disk space for program installation. At least 1 GB of available working space. (12GB is recommended.) 10 minutes of captured video in the MPEG-2 format requires about 300 MB hard disk space, 120 minutes of DVD video will require about 4.7 GB of hard disk space.
	Graphics Card: A display card supporting 16-bit high color or true color with 800 x 600 or above resolution. (1024 x 768 is recommended. For DV preview, true color (24 bits) is recommended.)
	DVD+RW, DVD-RW, or DVD-RAM (optional) burner.

Other Devices

	To capture and edit analog and MPEG files: a TV tuner Card, a USB capture device, or a video capture board compatible with Video for Windows or DirectShow (WDM) for use with analog camcorders (Hi8, V8, and so on).
	To capture and edit digital video: an OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 card and a DV camcorder.
	A digital mass storage device like a digital camera, web-cam, or removable hard disc.
	To create VCDs, a CD-RW drive, to create DVDs, a DVD rewritable drive.
